Sideboard might be 4 pyrostatic pillar 2 faerie macabre 3 searing blaze 2 ensnaring bridge 2 vexing shusher 2 smash to smithereens. Or no smash for 1 extra faerie and searing blaze

Red blast has been really bad for a while. And yeah, vortex and firecraft are really the same in the matchups where they're good, but shusher is usually better in those same matchups.

I did quite well today with this list. Positive matchup against Patron, midrange druid, handlock, hunter variants, midrange pally, tempo mage and mech mage. Goes even with control warrior. No, not really. The thing about vice is that it's ONLY a turn one play. The only other cards worth playing with that strict of a stipulation are leyline of the void and leyline of sanctity, which actually win you the game 95% of the time.

None of this is really relevant anymore. Demon handlock is a far superior deck, and it's so much more proactive, meaning zero Siphon Soul, no Sylvannas, and only one of each sweeper.

I was a bit surprised about the missing Spell Snares in the main deck. Maybe swap the Electrolyze for the Spell Snare in the sideboard at least.

Historically, the reason these decks played spell snare is because blue red loses hard to Goyf
