Why is Young Pyromancer always conspicuously absent from these lists? Also, has anyone else considered Delver, Jeskai Ascendancy, Stoke the Flames? (or maybe Delverless with just Pyromancers and maybe Fatestitchers...wait, that's a Legacy deck)

Why is Darkblast a problem? I just wrecked a Dredgevine player rocking Darkblasts, it killed a few creatures, but I just flooded the table and got there through his Darkblast and Gnaw to the Bone tech. G1 I lost because I forgot how Varolz works, and he had Death's Shadow in his graveyard.

Swerving Remand to Swerve does NOT give you your Swerve back. It'll be in the graveyard when Remand tries to resolve, and Remand will be countered on resolution. As a permission-light Delver player, the combo matchup is fine. If they don't interact, they're usually dead by turn 4. Taylor Swift kills...

What do you think about Dragon's Claw in the mirror? I understand the card disadvantage aspect of playing the card, and wouldn't dream of bringing in 4 copies, but if I had it in my sideboard and boarded out my Spell Pierces for 2 Dragon's Claws and something relevant, I could see it helping. I just...

Is Burn really bringing in Rain of Gore on the off chance their opponent plays Dragon's Claw? I could see that happening g3, but g2? Molten Rain is an obvious card that has pretty much always been in and out of Delver sideboards. It's good against Tron and Celestial Colonnade decks. I think Dragon's...

This deck is absurd now. Treasure Cruise is terrible against blue Tron, but that was already unfavorable and not popular, so hopefully becoming favored against two bad matchups is worth losing points to a fringe deck. Hey, can I get a DtR clan invite? Not sure how clans really work on modo but I think it keeps track of boosters we win or something is that right? I'm testing boros burn for GP Chicago this weekend, but my main moneymaker is Modern with various mono blue decks.

Even with pack prices being this bad, if you aren't making money on modo you're doing something wrong. My constructed rating is under 1800 right now and I have yet to lose tickets across two events.

I'm playing GP Chicago this weekend so I'll be testing a lot.

Eidolon maindeck is very, very good (read: game-winning) vs Dredge, postboard they have more annoying creatures (Mistcutter) so with the typical DtR configuration you probably bring them in but they aren't gamebreaking.

I had come to the same conclusion on Banishing Light vs Glare. I kept Helices in for a bad reason and that's how I used them (to kill Nyx-Fleece Ram after it blocked a Flamespeaker/other guy) but Shocks wouldn't have helped...I also did 8 to the face with 2 of them, which would have taken 4 Shocks. ...
