Dies to Removal

Seems so obvious after it's said... To me i've found drawing too many mutas to be a problem color-wise. I hate an opening 7 with 2 mutas. 2-3 gates, 9-10 mtns, 4 temples, 4 sacreds and 3 mutas actually do look better, and probably more consistent.

Ok. Doesn't do enough on its own? Another one word response is sufficient.

Just a question for you guys that are more in the know around this deck and archetype... Any thoughts on Pyrewild Shaman? Seems good with both ash and phoenix against either control or GR and provides some reach as well as possible recursion back to hand.

Clearly not good against polk and obviously not optimal as a sorcery. However, does open up the air for phoenixes on dragon, seems ok as a 2 of in that regard. Anyway, just a thought.

With regards to gr; would treason be a good sideboard? Seems great against dragon and baron (although admittedly not the best against obzy). Would seem to provide some good reach.
