What elite players? I will tell you right now no pro player will pickup Brads list and say it can't be updated. Yes I understand it's a stock list. Yes it's a good list. BUT IT CAN AND SHOULD BE UPDATED PEOPLE. you want mirror tech? Stoke and Ashcloud phoenix. You want better game vs control? Chandr...

Forgive me if I ignore your post. Wow I'm sorry. I'm saying something different, is that not ok? You can say whatever you like, but I can also disregard it when your argument is "Won the GP, beating thousands players at the highest non-invitation level of Magic there is; deck is shit". I'...

I don't know how you can come to that conclusion. Realistically, the only awkward decision was cutting a cheap removal spell from the main for an utter end, and even that's fine since most of the decks are getting even more midrangy. You can look at the Gryffs in his board kinda askance, but they m...

After trialling with Thoughtseize and Hero's Downfall, I can conclude that they are in fact rather clunky. I am testing the following version this week, if it doesnt feel right I'm moving back to my "stock" list. [deck] 3 Seeker of the Way 4 Goblin Rabblemaster 4 Butcher of the Horde 2 Ash...

I'm finding against Scapeshift and the new Pyroclasm decks, and vs. Pod having Swiftspear has been very helpful.

I'm actually moving towards the Swiftspears main, just trying to decide on 4 cruise or a mix of Cruise/Digs.

But I missed having 8 Delvers, thats for sure.

That's what my inclination was to do. The way the meta is shaping up, the decks I want blood moon vs. I never really need it, it's just a niche pick.

I'm moving down to 1 for a shatterstorm I think.

You guys are going to want Affinity hate that doesn't cost 1 mana.

As someone who plays Affinity, I'm running 3 Chalice of the Void's in my sideboard now, and that card is a beating.

Is your local store under a rock?

Do they have access to Internet.

Ari lax is playing the deck, but he's playing a list with 4 Swiftspear 2 snaps. I actually like his numbers and he's the first SwiftDelver player I've seen that combined good play with an almost optimal decklist.

I went 4-1-1 today, then my burn opponent scooped to me in the final so I would get more points for our player of the year thing, and we split credit (he was on treasure cruise burn). Played Pod 3 times, drew with burn, beat burn, and lost to grixis control to a misplay game 1 that didn't matter (pr...

I agree with Whole. If your not running Brimaz and Prognostic Sphinx, then yes you want magma spray over anger so your own stuff doesn't die. On the other hand, having access to anger not only vs Sligh but also Abzan aggro is huge. Because of that, and brimaz, and anger, and the fact that I want to ...

I think that Lightning strike should be the first burn spell to be cut in all honesty. Card selection is a big deal and unless lighting strike kills something that magma jet doesn't (fleecemane lion being one) then I would cut strike over jet.

Swiftspear is better in the aggressive versions with Vapor Snags, Forked Bolts and the like.

I prefer the controling versions, as it has better game against the field and better late game.

As to the Blue comment about wanting Nullify and such, I'm thinking the same thing.

Scewing blue makes us better vs. Mirror and junk but I think worse vs. Devotion/control

not sure though
